Scott and Steve Oswalt. Brothers and Owners.
Scott and Steve have grown this farm into what it is today. They both learned from their late father, Gordon Oswalt, how to raise healthy, gentle livestock and manage the land. Scott is currently off the farm due to health issues, click here to follow his journey battling a rare bone cancer, and please keep him and his wife, Sheryl, in your thoughts and prayers.
Steve is on the farm daily. He is in the tractor feeding cattle or in the office, managing and planning for the year-round needs of the farm and the livestock. Steve has the best sense of humor and makes working hard every day look so easy. We know how tough it can be, both mentally and physically, but he has an answer for every problem and a solution to most. The farm is lucky to have him guiding the next generation.
Taylor Eaton is the "farmer's daughter." For the past ten years, Taylor has done just about every job on the farm. Today, she is the person behind the photos and posts you see on social media, the one ordering your meat and scheduling your pick-ups, as well as helping around all over the farm. She is the real MVP!
Emily Foster, Steve and Scott's niece, grew up on the farm helping with lambing and even fell in love with her husband here! (A former farmhand and fence fixer extraordinaire) Today she is assuming Taylor's previous role as barn help and flock manager. Emily stepped in last year to help during Taylor's maternity leave and Scott's absence, but she has decided to stay on. Together these girls have a special vision for Oswalt Family Farms and don't take a moment on the farm for granted.
Besides family, this farm has several full and part-time employees who feed, water, move and check on livestock every day. They are essential to the operation and we could not run the farm without them.
